I was particularly worried about my dog during my recent visit, but Gus was extremely accommodating and kindly saw my dog as soon as possible. He took the time to provide clear information and explanations regarding my dog’s health. I found him to be very informative and knowledgeable, and he also offered helpful advice on how to care for my dog, particularly in monitoring his spine and joints and give advice for supplements. Overall, I cannot praise enough how well both my dog and I were looked after. I was also very grateful that I was not charged for this visit, which was greatly appreciated.Thank you Medivet Team.

Over approx 8 years, this surgery has got worse and worse and worse. From day one, the vet placed a lot of pressure on us to have our dogs genitalia mutilated, with the justification that it would help calm the dog down... I didn't see an issue with my pets temperament. He had called me on the phone to discuss this also. Why would I mess around with the organ that NATURALLY regulates his hormones? How cruel. This was my first indication that Medivet was a money operation. Over time, I came to realise that the staff would play on pet owners' emotions. I'd waited in their waiting room and listened to conversations with other pet owners and heard things like, "we need to think about what's best for the pet" when in reality they mean "we need to get that insurance money" On one occasion, I had to leave my pet in medivets care for three days and WOW when I saw the condition of how they kept my pet!?!?!? I was mortified. Absolutely horrible, zero care. Their insecurity and lack of confident staff resulted in my pet being muzzled everytime he was left in Medivet care. It is disgusting. You can see in one of my attached pictures, our dog left in medivet care, cone on, unable to get to his food. This is "care". The other photo of the letter was placed in front of me by a vet... when I said I'm not signing this, he replied oh sorry I haven't read what I printed for you to sign...?!?!?! Are you serious? That letter was placed under my nose at 6:30pm. I could really go on and on and on about how atrocious this practice is. But there's no point. In summary: if you can deal with your pets issues elsewhere, do so.

My 15 mth old Cockerpoo, Toffee was spayed last week. Jorge was very informative and explained the procedure in great detail. I chose the laparoscopic (keyhole) option because it is shorter surgery, less invasive and a quicker recovery and because she’s worth it! I bought a stretchy medical suit from Amazon rather than the cone, which was a great success. Two days on she was back to normal and seems not at all bothered by the procedure. Thankfully she is now free of seasons and it has greatly reduced the risks of cancers and infections. Thank you to all the Medivet team for a straight forward and stress free experience. Took our 2 cats for their annual jabs. As always it was a welcoming and professional led experience even when 1 cat was definitely not cooperating. Vet was clear in his explanations and listened to our questions, answering them and reassuring us. Could not imagine giving the care of our beloved pets to anyone else.

An outstanding practice. The wonderful reception team, clinical care assistants, student and qualified nurses, and veterinary surgeons led by Jorge clearly have a passion for their vocations! Witnessing first hand how they treated my dog - who gets very anxious in clinical settings - like one of their own pets; calmly and respectfully putting her at ease, speaks volumes about the care they offer. I cannot recommend Medivet Great Denham highly enough.

Excellent veterinary clinic. They were able to offer a same-day appointment and a follow-up the next day, and showed genuine care throughout. A few days later they even called to check how my cat was doing, which I really appreciated. Since September, I have seen several different vets at this clinic and they have all been kind, attentive and very competent. The reception team is also extremely helpful. I highly recommend this clinic.
