Recent reviews include specific examples such as hydrotherapy sessions for a dog with a back issue, care for pet rats, and bird care including claw trimming with an explanation of the procedure. Reviews are mostly positive, but there is also a serious negative account alleging an unsuccessful bladder-stone/blocked-urethra operation that required referral and repeat surgery.

A thank you for vet Joanna with her care and kindness with my beautiful Wolfie, even though we had to send him over the rainbow bridge which she did with kindness and gentleness.

Charged £1000s to operate on my dog for bladder stones and associated blocked urethra ( he couldn't pee). During the op Scotts vets didn't remove all the stones or clear the blockage properly, so the problem returned within 2 days of removing the catheter. Total urethra blockage again, necessitating referral to the specialist vets and another operation costing more £1000s. Scotts have taken no responsibility taken for their failure to prpoerly unblock his urethra. I wuld not recommend allowing Scotts vets to undertake this sort of operation. Go straight to the specialist.

I’ve been going to Scott Veterinary Clinic for a long time for my pet rats. Seen many vets over the years and Rory is the biggest stand out for me. He is extremely kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable about rats. He always makes the hardest appointments a little bit easier to tackle. He also offers many options for treatment and takes his time in consultations. Rory is a superb vet, a kind person and I’m always grateful for his expertise. Thank you Rory.

Nice clean place, really only option in a very large area that takes care of birds. Doctor was knowledgeable, did a good job trimming the bird’s claws, explaining the procedure to us. Wasn’t expensive. Will be back for sure.

Scott’s is not my usual vets but I bring my cocker spaniel there for hydrotherapy due to back issue. The reception team are always welcoming and friendly. I see Milly for hydrotherapy and she is very kind, caring, explaining everything clearly, my dog enjoys coming each week to see her and I feel we are in good hands. Milly and your reception team are a real asset.

Been taking my German Shepard here since I got him as a puppy, staff are friendly, vets are very helpful and you can pay over the phone after you've left (if you've had to leave in a hurry)! Recommend this vets!
